The Prescott Paddle Club filled more than half of
the forty foot wide glass “Viewery” of the Prescott
Public
Library during the month of May, 2007 with a kayak,
a
canoe, boating equipment, and pictures of our
activities.
The kayak shown here is a 9.5 foot long Rush model
made
by Old Town on loan from Manzanita Outdoor Sports in
the Frontier Shopping Center. The canoe, shown on
the
front page is a 13 foot, fiberglass and wood hull
Stowe
canoe made in Vermont on loan from member Tom
Barnett.
A crew of a dozen club members met at 9:00 a.m. at
the Library on May 1 and set up this beautiful
presentation in about three hours.
